Every summer, we recruit around 350 temporary summer workers for various roles in our care and support services.

We need summer workers between weeks 25–32, and we prioritize candidates who can work the entire period.

Qualifications

To succeed in the role of summer worker with us, we see that you:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Have a genuine interest in working with people and helping others.
  • Can communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • Have good digital skills, as much of the work is handled via computer or app.
  • We consider it an advantage if you are educated or have ongoing education in care or similar, or have experience working with people in care or other service professions.
  • We strongly prefer that you have a B driver's license, as it is a requirement for certain areas.

We need employees for:

  • Home Care: provides support to individuals who live in their own homes and need assistance in their daily lives. Services may include personal care, such as help with hygiene and dressing, as well as service tasks like shopping, meals, and some cleaning. The goal is to enhance the individual's independence and security.
  • Special Housing (SÄBO): is a housing form for individuals with extensive needs for somatic and/or dementia care, which cannot be met in ordinary housing. Staff is available around the clock to provide care, social support, and health care services in a safe and adapted environment.
  • LSS Activities: target individuals with significant and lasting disabilities. The municipality offers various services, such as group housing, daily activities, and escort services, to enable an independent life with good living conditions.
  • Personal Assistance: involves individually tailored support for individuals with extensive disabilities. The assistance helps the individual with basic needs and other personal activities, aiming to create increased participation and self-determination in daily life.
  • Social Psychiatry: provides support to young adults with severe mental health issues that significantly hinder their ability to manage daily life, such as depression, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder. We work to strengthen independence, participation, and quality of life. We offer individually tailored support in daily life through conversations, housing support, social training, and meaningful activities – always with respect, security, and the individual at the center.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist and support individuals in everyday situations such as personal care, showering, dressing, meals, and medication management.
  • Documentation of care work using a digital journal system.
  • Support and participate in leisure activities with care recipients.
  • You will have varied working hours scheduled for both day, evening, weekend, or night shifts, according to a roster.

The position requires participation in both digital and physical introductory training before a potential summer position.
